The Hooligan

Brief:

To design a logo, brand guidelines, web templates, and merch, for ‘The Hooligan’­- a small mdeia outlet focused on sports.

The client wanted a branding that has some humour, self awareness, and a sense of tradition. The logo was developed on the degradation of a traditional rampant lion symbol and matched with a wordmark developed from traditional blackletter calligraphy.

With a pared-down colour scheme, we used a vibrant blue to add a flash of colour and demand attention when and where required. The colours were chosen to easily work on both digital and print platforms.
